First, we should clean and dry all parts, apply a little grease to the bearing housing, and install the bearing needle.

Then install the linoleum and washer of the bearing housing cover back onto the cross shaft journal. The cross shaft is sleeved into the universal joint fork (expansion joint fork). The side with the oil cup faces the transmission shaft and is installed into the bearing housing (pay attention to the alignment of the groove and the screw hole). Then put on the cover plate and the bolt lock. Tighten the bolts, and the spider should be able to rotate without jamming or axial loosening. Finally, lock the bolt with a lock.

For some models, the universal joint can be installed only by gently tapping the outside of the bearing shell with a hammer, but it cannot be installed biased or hammered too hard to avoid damaging the parts. Until the lock ring groove is exposed, lock the lock ring securely.

After installation, the tightness shall be checked to ensure that it can rotate easily without looseness. The fit clearance between the fork hole of the universal joint and the bearing housing is 0-0.04mm. The bearing housing should not be locked with the oil seal seat.

After passing the inspection, inject lubricating grease.
